Why
Today, most of us spend many hours sitting and looking at computer and cell phone screens. More than at any former period in the history of mankind, today our lives and focus are centered in our upper body part - in our brain, while the rest of our body must endure our daily stress and pressure.
For millennia years, dance has been used in various ancient cultures as a mean for transformation, self-empowering, relief for clogged channels in our body and newly re-joining ourselves to the energy of life.
Dance without limits
The ‘Movement’ workshop transforms participants from the daily stressful mindset to one’s mindfulness, allowing a new re-connection to our own substance. The workshop enables reconnection of a person to himself, while creating a unique space that connects all participants to each other and crystalizes them into one group.
The workshop is structural and moderate. It starts with a 30-minute introduction and warm-up phase and movement guidance, led by Tom Lev Dekel, a movement and yoga teacher, and moves on to the dancing session, led by DJ Yaniv Tzadyck.
Duration is 2 hours, in darkness and silence, no words are being spoken. The darkness and space allow participants to sense much more freedom and relief, without any social compulsions. Participants reconnect with themselves and to their inner fire, as the space and music create the very settings to express ourselves in a light and comforted manner.
Number of participants: 30 - 50 people
Promise
Listening
The body as a lab – would teach us how to re-approach our own movement that exists in each one of us, through guidance and listening to our own feelings.
Awakening
Would teach us about our physical boundaries, thus strengthening and awaking new areas in our body and heart.
Dancing provides tools for free moving, inner reconnection, sense of relief of body and mind, defiance of borders, patterns and conditions, creating new energies that provide fun and satisfaction. It is a group gathering that creates communication, bonding and authenticity, an unforgettable pleasant experience of body and movement.
